Choral and Drama Night 2008...
...will forever be edged into my mind. Sorry this post is a day late, I was really tired out yesterday.
Spent my whole day out, mostly in school. Reached school at like 7.30+ I think. The whole of 207B was like already there. And I was the only one from 207A. It was really good to see the rest of them again! I know its only been days but I miss everyone so much already. Especially my tablemates! Gosh I miss their eccentricities. Anyway, full dress was pretty scary. Mr. Ng was screaming at almost everybody except the sec 1s! Our rehearsal went pretty well, but we waited a pretty long time before we rehearsed, even though we were the 3rd class to rehearse! Our sound effects were slightly not on time, and we got screamed at, some people were too soft. (YOU SEE I TOLD YOU TO COME FOR REHEARSALS!) But overall it was pretty okay. At least we didn't have to redo the tiring scenes like shifting of props etc.
207B's rehearsals were pretty good too. It was actually our first time seeing their newest play. Grace was super funny! And when she threw the ball it hit the mic right in the middle. I was like "Nice aiming!" haha. It was kind of funny. Because we were all like "Omg" when it was about to hit.
After rehearsals, Huizhen Weimin Grace Huilin Alicia Jan Singqing and I went to Bukit timah for lunch. I really pitied Singqing, she had to walk so far and cross two overhead bridges with a sprained ankle. And all we could do was hold her hand when she climbed stairs or at least walk beside her. Poor her, she was pretty tired out. We had pizza hut. I finally got to say, "May I have the bill please." Haha. And we talked. It was nice listening to them. Their stories are funny, and they're all so retarded and lame and eccentric.
The way back wasn't any less tiring for Singqing. We had longer walks and another overhead bridge to climb. The overhead bridge was super long! And I mean the staircase! Singqing was like, "Wah, how they design!" haha. But she made it through. And throughout, Grace played cheerleader here and there. It was a funny sight.
When we got back we lazed in LT1. Trust me, that felt more like a class chalet then our actual class chalet. We played bridge and taidi a bit, then everyone got sian. So I played stress with Huizhen. then she thought me this game we call "Call it!" (Grace came up with that) At first it was just the two of us. But it wasn't fun so we played fours. So each of us played two people. I was Myself and Singqing, and Huizhen was herself and Grace. It was damn retarded. Because we kept getting confused and calling wrong names. Because grace and Singqing weren't physically there so we like kept forgetting whose pile represented who. And then when Huizhen and Grace pile was the same, I had to call for Grace. We laughed until our stomachs ached! Then people got interested and joined!
So it was Grace Weimin HuiZhen Jan Singqing and Me. It was super funny. Singqing was damn good. I bet it was cause she got the most sleep so she's more alert! Jan is damn slow. She keeps losing her pile and calling the Huizhen like twice. The rest of us were about the same. For the last game me and Singqing keep getting the same cards and calling each other at the same time. And then jan would get the card and we would call her at the same time again. Jan had loads of losing sprees it was really funny. But she did get one big pile. Which we were all very proud of her for.
After that we all got ready for the performance. We were all pretty hyped, excited and nervous at the same time. Overall we all did great! I'm so proud of the whole of 207! We were like the opening and the closing cool right? For ours, they laughed at some wrong parts but overall the audience were pretty accurate. We received good feedback and stuff. So I'm just really relieved. I've put in a lot of effort into that play of ours, and so did the rest. So I'm just going to list out my dedications.
