This is my family Singing at YC
It was SUPER SUNNY
I could barely keep my eyes open.

Hello Hello.

I just realised that I didn't post pictures of my trip to China. But i'm lazy to upload. So I guess I 'll just randomly post pictures here and there. I'm definitely not going to post ALL anw. :D

Today was tiring. The IVP seminar took up the ENTIRE day! I was so tired when i got back and I just slumped onto my bed and fell asleep. I wanted to wake up half an hour later. But i ended up waking up at 7+! Just the right timing to take a bath before I had dinner.

The Seminar lasted from 8.30-16.40. So I arrived in school at about 7.30 and we left 7.45? The trip wasn't long. NUS isn't exactly very far from NYGH I guess. First of all we had a briefing of our day's program. Then we were dismissed to go to our various rooms to carry out our presentation. Ours' went pretty smoothly I guess. And I managed to make it really short. i bet we're the only group who stuck to the 2 min presentation time limit :D

After that it was TEA BREAK. lol. I was pretty hungry. I didn't eat breakfast as usual. And because i wasn't doing anything extremely fun or something that would occupy my mind and body, I got hungry pretty fast. After that it was TWO LONG TALKS. Here and there i jotted down notes just for something to do. Engineering is pretty cool. But it's not exactly in my area of interest. Plus i already have in mind what I want to pursue.

Then it was LUNCH. We didn't have cutlery at first. So we had to wait a while. Eventually when we got it, it wasn't forks and spoons. It was FORK OR SPOON. The food was pretty good. Probably the best food I've ever received from one of these school related things. :D there was rice with leafy veg and some sort of fried prawns and 2 mini drumsticks :D

Then it was the 3M workshop. 3M is the company that brought you POST ITs and most of the post it products you see in Singapore I guess. Apparently they have like 60 000 over products sold all around the world! She talked a bit. And then explained our task. That was : To build a highway out of the materials they gave. And the main point was to get the longest timing for the ball to roll (CONTINUOUSLY) down the highway. it was a ping pong ball and a big marble. So small and heavy and big and light :D Taking in consideration the cost price of course. :D They gave prices for their materials. :D

Because our group is the only group from 207. We were supposedly supposed to join this other hwa chong guy and 2 students from northview. But in the end because of absentees, HC didn't have any left over people, so we got split up and went to join the NY groups.

It was pretty challenging i guess. Trying to make a highway that was cheap and yet effective. And we had to make sure the two balls would be able to roll. It took a lot of planning, and we faced A LOT of problems. But in the end, even though we didn't win anything, at least we managed to complete the task. And I guess it WAS PRETTY FUN :D

After that it was another tea break. I accidentally took the teachers' tea! It actually tasted pretty nice :D Then followed by the presentation of the 5 top score groups. One of them was from NY :D 3 HC groups presented. One wasn't in the top 5 but they presented because apparently they had a very scientific learning experience. So they came up and the leader gave this extremely long presentation. They were so horribly lame and egotistical! But at least that brightened things up a bit :D All the HC presenters seemed to find the need to squeeze in humour into their presentation lol. Anw, that group was called 'white' so they used the A4 paper even though its more expensive so that it will be white. And they decided to be special and made their highway the FASTEST HIGHWAY AMONG ALL. Lol. And its expensive because they are supposedly 'RICH'. The guy crapped up some really lame story. Though surprisingly, really entertaining :D

And finally it was HOME SWEET HOME.

So that's basically it. I just spent a lot of time settling all my emails. What with the stupid Youth Day Funfair and whatnots. I almost forgot to send Mr. Tan m Ivp stuff! Oh well. Since tomorrow is Saturday. I can afford to sleep late. So i'm going to go work on my LA D:

Procrastination rose my roof. -.-
