I'm finally FREE. Free from deadlines and training. Its only today. Cause today's Wednesday and there is no training on Wednesday. Plus its sabbs week so NO HOMEWORK. Well actually there's art. But I'll attend to that tonight!

American Idol finals tonight and tomorrow night! I LOVE DAVID COOK! ;D He's cute. But I doubt he'll win, cause everyone things that DAVID ARCHULETA'S ALL YOUNG AND CUTE. BUT David Cook's got a nicer voice. And he'll do better in his career. QUOTE FROM THE RADIO. You know after watching the season marathon, I've realised how entertaining American Idol is. Ms Chen used to watch! But she's got no time now D: BUGGY BURST MY BUBBLE (Alliteration!) She said they rehearse their comments? It can't be true right? It won't ALWAYS be the same.

Anw, let's talk about sabbaticals. MY SABBS ROCK (as usual :D). I think I'm pretty lucky. So far, I've always got my first choice sabbs. This year, as i've mentioned before, I got Food chem and Chinese folk art. FOOD CHEM ROCKS! Carrying out science experiments are fun.

DAY 1 FOOD CHEM- We did natural indicators and made RAINBOW JELLIES! Jiayi's got the pictures. Which she has not sent to me yet! I thought our colours were pretty nice. EXCEPT DARK BLUE. Urgh! It was last minute. Our red green orange and light blue are really nice though. Sadly, we left it in the lab to harden and now its MISSING! Oh wells, would have HAD to throw it away sometime or other.

DAY 2 FOOD CHEM- We played with green peas! Well not exactly, we carried out test on the effects on texture and colour of peas when subjected to heat and different pH conditions. And then presented. Our group won best presentation and got a $5 popular voucher each! (That's be real useful! Considering the amount I spend at Popular. Tsk!) Oh and I got this Porcupine scientist(?) for answering a question. (I now have two, cause I answered a question today :D) Jiahui got it too. And we named them : Tooki Tiiki and Cooki! :D

DAY 3 FOOD CHEM (today) - We extracted cholesterol from egg yokes. GROSS! the cholesterol was disgusting, but still food chem's fun! There was this strong strong smell of overdone eggs drowned in oil! Even the other sabb people coming in to use the weighing scale were complaining about it! :D

And then Folk Art, it has got to be the best chinese sabb you can ever ask for. ( Well at least compared to the rest :D )

DAY 1 FOLK ART- We made the string things. You know, like Zhong Guo Jie (Is that what it's called? I don't exactly listen to caolaoshi talk abt history) We made dragonflies! the two which I made both have short bodies! Then ofcourse we did the simple Zhongguojie. Which was very difficult! It took me FOREVER to get it. And I had to redo don't know HOW MANY TIMES cause I kept failing! And lastly we made a bracelet. Which was also irritating cause it was so hard to get the same pattern. Until I really went and study the pattern and finally understood it. Caolaoshi missed out one step when she was teaching us! This was all super fun. At the end, i had extra time and went to do a full verbal genetic diagram of the colour of the dragonflies. Crossing the blue and pink dragonfly with the pink and yellow dragonfly! Its like doing ABO blood type. Its kinda fun. I LIKE GENETICS! They're cool.

DAY 2 FOLK ART- She had nothing much to teach us, so she bought us rose paper and we made roses :D THIS, also took forever for me to pick up. It's hard at first, but after a while, you get the hand of it. But for some i had to keep on redoing or I'd accidentally let go and it unrolled itself. (That's really irritating) I made a mini bouquet. (As shown above) :D And I got really high towards the end. Cause i was overly nothing-to-do-bored :D

DAY 3 FOLK ART (today)- We did MIAN REN! Which directly translated into English would be NOODLE PEOPLE! (Of course its NOT ACCURATE cause I am a horrible translator!) It was REALLY FUN! The dough thing is super soft and doughy and smells like ang ku kueh! I did a dog and a chicken. Well we ALL did a dog. The teacher cao invited is REALLY REALLY PRO. You should have seen him! He can make ANYTHING! And they're all really realistic :D I attracted like ALOT of attention on the way home like from school. Cause everybody kept staring at my MIAN REN :D Huizhen's band senior thought it was food and wanted to eat it! -.- :D

So that's sabbs so far. Tomorrow for folk art we're making kites! Cao invited this guy who claims that all the kites he makes will fly. And you don't even have to run! You just need to stand there and it will fly! And if anyone of our kites doesn't achieve that, cao doesn't have to pay him! Shows how good he is :D

OHOH! I watched "MADE OF HONOUR" starring the ever so cute PATRICK DEMPSEY! And "IRON MAN". Made of Honour was really nice. Well at least to me. It's really funny. :D And Iron man TOTALLY ROCKS! The technology is freaking cool! And I love his robots. They're so cute! Especially the fire extinguisher! :D YOU SHOULD TOTALLY WATCH IRON MAN! :D

I watched iron man yesterday. And it was sort of last minute. I was planning to watch it. But i hadn't asked my dad. So it was like 7+ and i was having my dinner! And we decided to go! The movie was like at 8pm! And I just came back from training! So I hadn't bathed either. But anw, I just pulled on my black pants grabbed a jacket and my specs and left! I brought the jacket cause i don't think it's allowed to go out in your NY shirt or sth. At least thats what someone told me. I couldn't find flats so I just slipped on my slippers. (The formal-er kind DUH!) but I'm telling you I LOOKED WEIRD. But oh wells. It was worthed it! It ended at like 10.30! Well actually 10.15 but the credits took 15min! There was some extra part at the back see? SO yeah.
