just came back frm children's camp today.
it was really fun.
i enyjoyed myself like anything.
i didnt think it was gonna be fun.
cause i tot it'd just be me and Mary,someone frm my church,and the rest of the guys which would have been really really crappy.
yea anw.was wrong.
the camp was opened up to everyone and lotsa peops showed up.
lots whom i didnt noe yet.
and it was great fun gettin to noe them i this camp.
though of course some of the peops who have been coming every year were there.
yea.the first day was just orientation.
and settling into our rooms.
all the girls slept together in this really big room.
except for some younger girls who were like six?
they slept together with an adult in another room.
then after dinner.
we had ice breaker games.
we played this 5 cent and 10 cent game which was something new.
then we played an obstacle game.
the whole group, even the really young ones, were blind folded and led by the group's adult in charge thru losta obstacles.
the leader stood in front and the rest of the group held on to the person infront's shoulders.
firstt we climbed down the stairs frm the secong floor.
then when we came out from the exit of the staircase we got sprayed with water and dumped with powder.
then we had to crawl thru this really really small and narrow tunnel.
then we had to crawl again.under lotsa strings which were really low.
so low we had to crawl on our elbows.
then we were tapped on the head and tickled and itched.
and i accidentally pulled part of a christmas decor off cause it was itching my face and i tot it was one of the chaperons.
then we took off our blind folds
and directed one of our blind folded members under many strings and passed the two red strings which was the end of the obstacle test.the strings were tied across ina way tt it looked like lazers tt would trigger the alarm if u touched it in one of thouse kim possible shows.just a lil less complicated.
tt was really fun
even though we got really wet and angry tt the chaperons were going overboard irritating us.xD
then at night we had to put a three year old girl to sleep cause her mum had to go for a debrief.
and she onli slept like at 12?!?!?!!?and we were supposed to sleep at 10 30.
yea nxt morning, lotsa peops couldnt wake up,
but luckily,everyone woke up on time for devotion praise and worship and PT.
then after breakfast we had a really interesting talk.
then had this workshop which was really fun.
we had five stations to go thru.
station1)treasure hunt
" "2)arts and craft
" "3)crossword puzzle
" "4)jigsaw puzzle
" "5)museum
the hardest was the treasure hunt.
which the chaperons claimed to be SIMPLE.
yea for arts and crafts we couldnt really do anything caus only the 8 and belows could do it.
it was kinda hard for em.
the crossword puzzle and jigsaw puzzle was kinda easy.well.FOR ME.
my group didnt really do much for the crossword puzzle though.
cause onli two peops are christians.
one was me and the other one was way young.and its a GUY.
a really immatured one.
the worst parts were the memory verses cause it took alot of effort to try help the younger ones memorise it.
cause only me and nick, ho's like 12, could memorise really quickly without trouble.
the rest were like.*look*"I CANNOT MEMORISE!"without even reading it?YUPP.cause the oldest other then me and nick were like 10 i think.and its a GUY too!
the rest are really young like 6-9.
and they didnt really bother to put in the effort to memorise.
then we went discovery centre.
i managed to play lotsa games we didnt get to.
cause we didnt noe they were games and all.
and we had a staff to explain and tour us around the whole games place before we could roam freely.
the bad part was tt the leaders HAD to follow their group wherever they went.
so i didnt really have THAT much fun.
plus my group alwaes at different opinions.
and peops kept going missing.
we didnt really had much time there,
then we went to watch the 3D movie,yea,the really young ones and some other girls got scared.and i didnt really enjoy it either cause the younger ones(GUYS)kept talking really loudly thruout the whole movie.
i mean like.cant they just sit back and enjoy instead of gettin excited so easily i mean look at wad they said."EH!I TOUCHED THE BRANCH!" "SO???I TOUCHED THE ..."
i mean like WTH MAN!!!
then we went on the bus thing which our went for too
and i almost fell asleep cause i found it really boring,even the first time.but i must sae,our tour guy was much better and more experienced.the one there didnt sae lotsa stuff ours did.but of course the kids are like so young.
so they were like really excited and all??
then later on in the night we went to amozozo.
from the outside its like this really big ballon castle?
and we waited a real long time before we got in,.
inside was really colourful and it looked like a cave.
it was really relaxing inside.
then later at night we were told wad presentations we would be doind and our parts.then we had our drama rehearsal.
it was like really horrible.sorta.cause the actors were sooo young.
yea i was narrator.
the nxt day was mainly just the rehearsals.but the morning exactly the same as the other day.
then at night parents came and we performed.
i really enjoyed the performance,even though it wasnt exactly perfect
but it was better than we had expected.
and our actors.especially one the main ones.couldnt remember his line.
and like i mean he couldnt remember a single line.the whole team had to kepp proting him but it seemed like they were just whispering to him, as part of the presentation.
so everything turned out fine.
the last day we had the closing ceremony and once again..
my group WON!!
and the when i went up to the pastor to receive the prizes, the pastor was like"expected lah"
cause last year my group won too.
not tt they were the same peops.
but we kinda won by ALOT.
GUESS WAD?!?!?
my group name was peace.xD
then in the afternoon we went pony riding.
feeding the horse is kinda scary kaes.
we were like."ew ew ew ew ew ew ew..."and it was really itchy.
pony riding was really fun.and my horse shited half way.xD
but i was lucky cause i got another horse a "new one" as in cause the other one went for a break.
the one i was riding was the only white one tt carries peops and bring them for a ride?
yea it was really fun.
I totally enjoyed this camp. it was really well planned.and i enjoyed the free time playing big two with the p6 girls.
and like spending a couple of hours putting the girls to sleep AND waking them up..cause we like slept an hour or two later and waking up an hour earlier.
this is like the best children's camp ive had so far.
mainly cause there were lotsa outings or rather there were outings
and there were lotsa peops.this yea 45 the previous year was onli 25 and they almost cancelled it!
o and they had these songs and then we would follow the actions shown on the video and it was really fun.even though u might think its kiddy or sth.but it was really fun dancing and singing along.it was like SUPER FUNNY LOR~
i think i over post le but i didnt want to forget this camp so yea..HAHA.
really gotta go now.and finish watching the shows i taped.xD
